About Scripted

We started in screenwriting

Before we were Scripted, we were a screenwriting company named Scripped. Over 80,000 writers have registered on Scripped to use our free, Web-based screenwriting software and enter contests hosted by Hollywood celebrities and studios. When we first launched Scripted, the best of our writers from Scripped were invited to join. Scripped was the original backbone of Scripted.

Since then, hundreds of new writers have joined Scripted, and we took our years of experience working with writers to offer new writing opportunities outside of the entertainment industry. Businesses responded in kind; they loved having the writing process taken care of by our staff and hand-selected writers. We never missed a deadline, and the writing was always top-notch.

We found that great writers are in every industry
With the 80,000 screenwriters in our database, we could match a writer to any blog topic or tweet assignment a business could throw at us. Need a blog post on open-source Linux distributions? No problem. Solar panel installation technology? We got that. Latest trends in shoe fashion? Oh, you know we have that.

And because many of our writers have screenwriting backgrounds, they understand audience, story arch, and structure. Their experience writing dialogue converts perfectly to tweets. Press releases, which are very structured documents, also feel very familiar to a screenwriter. In short, if you can write a screenplay, you can write anything, and you'll love doing it.

Most businesses don't have time to write
Ultimately, what a typical business wants is a few well-written blog posts and a couple hundred tweets and Facebook posts each month. In today's online environment, that's the minimum requirement to stay relevant and visible in search results and social media. But that takes time, and businesses can't afford to lose staff hours or hire a dedicated writer. Managing a traditional freelance workflow is time-consuming. Scripted cuts out all the pain. You just want the writing, and that's what we offer.

Other businesses use content to dominate their competition
While the points above hold true, some businesses understand that content is more than just a means to stay afloat; you can use it to crush your competitors. Building a publishing machine around your product not only improves your search ranking, it gives customers the peace of mind to know that you're a thought leader. Will they choose the company with a few pages of poorly-written text, or the firm that has an online magazine dedicated to their product and field of work?

We serve the needs of both small and large companies with small and large content demands. Our scalable platform is built from the ground up with ease and flexibility in mind, and our dedicated account managers respond to your special requests quickly. We look forward to serving you and helping you to achieve your content goals!
